2009 MINI Cooper Convertible
A few photos of the Detroit-bound R57 Cooper ragtop have fallen into the hand of MotoringFile along with a brief list of specifications. According to this information the new car uses the same chassis and powertrains as its predecessors and will come equipped with a JCW package.
The most important and obvious change is the pop-up roll hoops that will make you forget about those old fixed units. The “Always Open”gauge is placed next to the tach housing and it will let you know how many miles have you driven with the top open. The new Mini Cooper will feature a new black chrome interior trim package inside and new paint.
According to MotoringFile, the car will be presented in showrooms starting this spring. We’ll keep you posted with more information.
