32 Miles With A Single Gallon: The 2010 Chevy Equinox
Back in January, GM announced with all guns blazing the new 2010 Chevy Equinox and together with it the new new EcoTec 2.4-liter four-cylinder beast. Apparently, this latter will use its direct injection to get 30 mpg on EPA highway cycle.
It’s been 5 months and the engineers continued playing with the calibration in order to win more and more miles per gallon.
The EPA evaluation is far from being finished by even so Brian Goebel, Chevrolet spokesman released a note saying that the Equinox will hit 32 mpg running down the highway. If you cruise into the city the consumption will register only 22/28 mpg.
Start saving money because the Chevy Equinox will hit the showrooms next month.
