Audi Will Start The Q3 Production In Spain

Audi is selling the Q5 crossover very good on the North American market but even so there’s a new model on its way and this baby is planning to steal some hearts on its own. This new German menace is the Q3 crossover that was announced for production in Martorell, Spain in 2011 and will be a “coupé-like five-door SUV with seat positions, wheel size, and ground clearance characteristic of a typical SUV”, at least that’s the official description.

According to the press release, Audi will use the SEAT plant in Spain to build 80,000 units but nothing was mentioned about any possible US assembly facilities.

If the rumors are true, the Q3 will resemble a lot to the 2007 Cross Coupe Quattro Concept and even if it won’t be built on US soil it will still be sold there starting 2011.
