1. Bentley Continental Flying Spur Speed

Bentley is one of the most acclaimed manufacturers of luxury sedans on the planet. The British luxury cars can only be exceeded by Rolls-Royce, but Bentley is superior in the performance Chapter. The Bentley Continental Flying Spur Speed is powered by an six liter engine that develops 610 HP at 6,000 rpm and 750 Nm. The maximum speed is 322 km / h and the acceleration from 0-100 km / h is done in 4.8 seconds.

2. Alpina B5 Bi-Turbo

Alpina is the semi-official tuner of BMW. Alpina cars are BMW models taken to a higher level of performance. Everything is done in collaboration with BMW. The Alpina B5 Bi-Turbo uses a 4.4-liter V8 engine plus two turbines. The obtained power is 507 HP at 5,500 rpm. The maximum torque is 700 Nm and the transmission is provided by an eight-speed automatic gearbox. The maximum speed is 307 km / h, and the acceleration from 0-100 km is achieved h 4.7 seconds.

3. Porsche Panamera Turbo S

The most powerful version of the Panamera is called Turbo S and uses a 4.8 liter V8 engine. The maximum power is 550 HP at 6,000 rpm and a torque of 700 Nm. No Porsche is slow, but the Panamera Turbo S offers some impressive numbers for a four-door sedan. The maximum speed: 306 km/h, acceleration 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds with the SportChrono package. The transmission is provided with an automatic gearbox with double PDK clutch with 7-speed.

4. Aston Martin Rapide

Aston Martin could not remain outside of this select club of very fast sedan. And thus created the Rapide model. And they managed to create a highly dynamic sedan designed in the purest Aston Martin style. For the Aston Martin Rapide, the British engineers have used a 5.9 liter V12 engine located in front. The delivered power is 477 HP at 6,000 rpm. The maximum torque is 600 Nm at 5,000 rpm. The acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is achieved in 5.2 seconds, and the top speed is 295 km/h.

5. Alpina B3S Bi-Turbo

The second BMW Alpina in the top is a model built on the 3 Series. The B3S Bi-Turbo, is one of the best models produced by Alpina. This model uses the six-cylinder engine of three liters. Is again applied to two turbines for the power supplied is 400 HP at 6,000 rpm. The maximum torque is 540 Nm at 5400 rpm. The gearbox is automatic and has six steps. The maximum speed is 300 km/h and the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is achieved in 4.7 seconds.

The Chinese car market has led many manufacturers in the auto industry to focus their efforts to meet the demands of the Asian consumers. And how do you do this, if not by launching special editions. The German car manufacturer, BMW, has embraced this trend and continues with a new offensive with a limited edition of M3.

If the Matte and the Tiger Editions have not been sufficient to retain the Chinese customers, the BMW officials have launched the new Carbon Edition. The new special version of the M3 will be produced in only 111 units and will cost 1.23 million yen, the equivalent of 130,000 euros.

As the name suggests, the new limited edition will have a lot of carbon fiber elements, both on the inside and outside. The M3 Carbon edition is painted in Mineral White color and has the Carbon Edition logo. On the outside, the roof, the front and the rear bumper, and side skirts are made ??of carbon fiber. To complete the exterior as a proper tuning, BMW opted for 19-inch aluminum wheels painted in black.

On the inside, the Bavarian model has leather seats with black carbon fiber-like texture and embroidered with white thread. Also, the center console has received a number of elements made from carbon fiber.

It appears that the next generation of the BMW X5 and X6 SUVs will come with greatly improved fuel efficiency and a reduction in CO2. The axles on the two models will be lighter by 150kg and a number of other weight saving measures will be taken, to get the X5 to a weight of just 1,814 kg (4000 pounds).

Both models will come with improved engines, with better fuel efficiency. There will be both 8 and 6 cylinder engines, but you will also have the choice of crossover units, which will come with 4 cylinder engines (in diesel and gasoline variants). They are also working on a number of hybrid versions, one of them combining a 345HP engine with an electric motor of 108HP.

The improvements in fuel efficiency will also be seen on the M versions, which will consume 15% less fuel, though the engine will be the same 4.4L V8. Its total output is 557HP.

The car is expected to be released at the end of the year, but for now the photo with the model is below and it was taken in the Nurburgring area.

The official launch for the BMW M5 is expected to be done at the Motor Show from Frankfurt, in September. The engine on the M5 will be a V8 engine with 4.4L capacity and a maximum output of 552HP. The maximum torque of the car will be 510lb/ft. The numbers of this engine are higher than those of the previous model, offering an extra 52HP. The new engine allows the M5 to do the sprint from 0 to 60 mph in only 4.5 seconds. The maximum speed of the car is 155 mph (with an electronic limit).

The BMW 328 Hommage concept car was just announced by the German car manufacturer and its based on another concept, called the Vision Connected Drive Concept, first announced at the Geneva Auto Show in 2011. One other concept was launched in 2008 which was called M1 Hommage and it was quite similar to this one.

The BMW 328 Hommage is basically an interpretation of a classic sports car from the 30’s, which is very light, since it uses plastic which is reinforced with carbon fiber. For this reason, they managed to get the weight down to 780kg (1720 pounds). The engine of the 328 Hommage is a 3.0L model with 6 cylinders, but there is no news on how much power it has.

The model which is celebrated by the 328 Hommage is the BMW 328 roadster, which was released 75 years ago and it was produced for 2 years. At that time the speed of the car was over 103 miles per hour.

There is a rumor that BMW is currently working on a new model, which will be the 4-Series, whose place will be between the 5 Series and the 3 Series models. It’s going to be a hatchback with 5 doors, based mostly on the 3 Series next generation of cars. The photo below is a illustration which is based on spy photos taken of the model as it was tested.

Initially, it was supposed to be the BMW 3 Series GT, but in the end it will be a distinct model and it’s going to be a premium version of the 3 Series. The passengers from the back will have raised seats and you will have either 3 or 2 seats in that area.

The engines on the BMW 4-Series will be the same as the ones which will come with the next generation 3 Series. The versions available for the 4 Series will be cabriolet, coupe, estate and sedan. The headroom will be quite large, thanks to the swooping roofline. There is a very good chance that the 4 Series will have 4×4 versions as well.

The guys from Lumma Design have brought the ex version of the 6 series from BMW back to life, with the help of a full aerodynamic bodykit. This kit comes with a front bumper which uses the M style, side skirts that are new and a rear bumper that was updated as well, now coming with opening on the site, as well as a diffuser which contains the four tail pipes.

This E64 BMW 6 series is also lower and it uses a set of polished chrome rims with a 21 inch size, which use tires designed for high performance, measuring 295/25 21 at the rear and 255/30 21 at the front of the car.

This model also has a number of other mods when compared with the original car, including instrument dials that are white, with the logo of the company on them and a steering wheel with a flat bottom, in a sporty style. This steering wheel uses leather and carbon fiber.

BMW M5’s four wheel drive model has been confirmed by the manufacturer and it seems that the Mercedes E63 AMG will get a rival that can pose a real challenge. The 4WD version of the BMW M5 was actually unveiled at the Auto Show from Shanghai last week, but it was presented as a concept car, with a V8 engine that offers 552HP.

No other information was offered by BMW at this point, but it is known that the four wheel drive model is being developed as we speak and that they are also working on a version with a long-wheelbase, designed just for China. More information on the 4WD BMW M5 will probably come at the Frankfurt Auto Show, when BMW will show off the version that is ready for production.

Some of the things you can expect to see in this new version is improved performances when going in straight lines and most probably up to 25% better fuel efficiency, since it will use the Getrag gearbox, with 7 speeds and dual clutch. Other probable features are the brake energy recuperation and the system for automatic start and stop.

The M Package for the BMW 6 Series was revealed by a Dutch publication. They presented a model in an advertorial, and the news quickly spread on the BMW portals. The M package contains a number of accessories for the 6 Series, including a set of alloy wheels, sport seats, M steering wheel, aerodynamic kit, Alcantara ceiling painted in black, Sport exhaust system and more.

The wheels received in the M package are called “Style 373M” and are equipped with performance tires. The package of amendments is completed by the sports pedals and the M side skirts. Also, the speed limitation of the model can be raised electronically at a higher threshold, but no information on the new value is available.

In the case of the M Package, the BMW 6 Series receives optical blocks and fog lights with LEDs. These elements provide additional lighting and visibility at a reduced energy consumption. Moreover, their adjustment is automatic and more accurate, and is no longer a single bulb on one side, but a set of LEDs on each wing.

According to some rumors BMW will present at the Tokyo Motor Show a new M concept, that would incorporate the M Division technology and lightweight materials, with a truly spectacular result.
The chassis will have a range of new materials such as carbon fiber, magnesium, titanium, thermoplastic or the CFRP (carbon fiber reinforced plastic). Unfortunately for fans of the brand, this concept will remain in the concept stage.

Viewed from another angle, the new M concept could become a promoter for the future BMW, the German car manufacturer could use this technology to other models that will enter mass production. Moreover, the Bavarians have said that carbon fiber reinforced plastic will become a material widely used in the future BMW models.
