The images, posted on the Facebook account of GM have been immortalized in the LX Spring Festival event, held in California, thus taking the media by surprise who expect to see the concept as early as the New York Auto Show.

Chrysler 300 S concept has undergone a discrete restyling process to gain a more sporty look. The front grille was replaced the lights have been slightly retouched, the air intakes were enlarged, and the standard wheels were replaced with alloy wheels.

Chrysler did not provide details about the mechanical changes, but under the bodywork we will certainly find a modified chassis with stiffer suspension and upgraded brakes. The Fiat-Chrysler alliance will use the changes found on the Chrysler 300 S Concept on the Lancia Thema.

Chrysler had a problem with a new adhesive used for the powertrain control module and they’ll recall 712 vehicles off the market.

According to an official announcement made by the National Highway Transport Safety Administration (NHTSA), Chrysler will recall 712 vehicles off the market due to a powertrain control module problem.

The recalled vehicles are 2009 Jeep Compass and Patriot, Dodge Avenger, Caliber and Journey and Chrysler Sebring. The main cause of the problem is a new adhesive used for the powertrain control module that causes malfunctions with the printed circuit board. If that happens the engine will crash without a warning and that’s a nasty situation.

Starting this month, any car owners facing this problem must go to an official dealer and they’ll replace the powertrain control module for free.

For any additional information you can call Chrysler’s customer service at (800) 853-1403.
