The premiere announced by Gumpert is actually a concept that will anticipate the production version of the supercar, scheduled to be launched in 2012. Under the hood, the Gumpert Tornante concept presented in Geneva, will have an engine of Audi origin, a 4.2 liter V8 bi-turbo, modified to develop 700 HP.
Novitec’s TuLesto supercar celebrates Novitec’s 20th anniversary on the auto market.

It looks like a Ferrari, it purrs like a Ferrari but weird as it may seem… it’s better than a Ferrari. The Novitec TuLesto is a German supercar that will celebrate Novitec’s 20th anniversary.

The manufacturer is planning to release on the market only 11 units each hiding under the hood 777 horsies that can run to 60 mph in only 3.4 seconds. The car uses a 4.4-liter four-valve V8 engine matched to a six-speed semiautomatic (that’s almost .10 liter larger than the one used for the Ferarri 430 model).

When it comes to wheels the TuLesto’s 20 or 21-inch boots resemble a lot to the ones worn by the Lamborghini especially if you consider their ceramic composite brakes and the six-piston fixed calipers.

Happy Anniversary Novitec!

EDAG’s “Light Car Open-Source” is an amazing project that’s open for suggestions.

The famous Geneva Motor Show officially opened its gates and EDAG was invited to this event to present the amazing „Light Car – Open Source” concept.

The car looks absolutely astonishing. Let’s get started.

The basalt fiber chassis is 100% recyclable and the (O)LED technology handles both the driver exterior lightning as well as the safety of your fellow drivers by displaying the important road-related details (road conditions, crossing pedestrians, etc) on its big display on the back. This entire concept is a huge open-source project and the developers are taking into consideration every new technology available on the market.

On the inside there’s a lot of free space because this baby uses in-wheel motors.

Stay tuned for more information on pricing and release date.
