Honda will present the new Jazz Hybrid at the Paris Motor Show later this month. The hybrid is the first in the B segment and will use the same engine as Insight and CR-Z. The Honda IMA system offers CO2 emissions of 104 grams per kilometer for the Jazz Hybrid, and the fuel consumption is 1.4 liters per 100 km. The value of the fuel consumption and the CO2 emissions are provided by the Honda tests and are not approved by the ACEA.

The most important achievement of the Jazz Hybrid is that the volume of the trunk remained unchanged, while interior space remained the same. The trunk offers a volume of 300 liters and the Magic Seats system provides a load volume of 831 liters by folding rear seat.

The I-VTEC engine of Jazz Hybrid has 88 HP at 5,800 rpm and offers a maximum torque of 121 Nm at 4,500 rpm. The electric motor provides 26 HP and 24 Nm more. Honda officials have not specified whether the Jazz will have a CVT transmission or a manual gearbox with six reports.

The new Honda Jazz Hybrid will make the commercial debut in the early 2011.

Wraptivo presents the Honda CR-Z Type F concept

The design house Wraptivo will present in the SEMA motor show the new concept Honda CR-Z Type F. Through this model, the designers wanted to show to the public the fun and sporty side of the CR-Z. The Type-F will have a more aggressive and sporty appearance thanks to the new body package. On the exterior, the concept will be painted in the Carbon Black Film color. Wrpativo also thought to apply some changes to the engine. To increase the performance of the car they will mount a charge system, a suspensions package and will recalibrate the ECU unit.

In addition, Wraptivo will replace the exhaust system with a sports one. Inside, the design house added a set of Recaro sports seats and Alcantara upholstery. The Honda Accessories, TEIN, HKS, Volk Racing and BF Goodrich are just some of the partners who have worked with Wraptivo.

The 35 finalist of the European Car of the Year 2011 Award

The most important European car competition, the European Car of the Year, has announced the list of the 35 models that will enter the battle for the big prize in this autumn.

To be eligible for the Car of the Year award, a car must be launched in Europe during 2010 and appear on at least two continents until June 2011.

In this year finalists list, the best represented car manufacturers are Citroen and Nissan with three models each (C3, C4 and DS3, respectively Juke, Leaf and Micra). Renault with the Wind is also on the list along with the first Romanian SUV manufactured by Dacia, The Duster.

2011 Honda CR-Z

Many people have been expecting news about 2011 Honda CR-Z. It seems that a video has leaked out with the new model. The 126-combined-horsepower hybrid eco-runner is spotted in the video. Here is a still from the video, showing the front side of the car. There are many more additional specs to come with it but so far this is what leaked on the internet. The front has a U.S.-sized number plate and looks quite sporty. This car is expected to be shown at the Detroit Auto Show.

Honda CR-V facelift

Honda CR-V is getting a facelift. The Japanese car manufacturer calls the new car “new CR-V” and will be revealed on September 17th. Many people say it will be the attraction at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Also, the Honda officials seem not to have messed around with the car that much and it seems like a mid-cycle refresh. The leaked image shows us a few changes on the subtle grille and fascia. But we will see more of the beautiful car in the middle of September when it will be unveiled right in front of our eyes and we will be able to say more. Till then, this is one of the leaked pictures.

After BMW has released racing for the amateurs. Now it’s time for Honda to do the same. You can by factory parts from Big Red H. Honda Performance Development. They have opened a membership portal wich includes many products and services for Honda and Acura clients. You can find parts and tools for amateur and also professional racing. You have to become a member of Honda Racing Line in order to buy those parts. In order to do that, you have to be a member of a nationally recognized sanctioning body and also to show some good racing results in the past year.

Acura 2010 Four-Door Sport Coupe

Acura has officially announced today that the 2010 Four-Door Sport Coupe will be launched in winter time. The cool looking 2010 Acura ZDX has a 3.7-liter SOHC V-6 all-aluminum engine that delivers 300 horsepower and also 270 lb-ft of torque. The car has 6-speed automatic transmissions and a steering wheel mounted paddle shifters. Not to mention the Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) system which has the ZDX with outstanding handling and a superior all-season capability. The price and all the other small details will be announced this winter.

Honda S2000 Ultimate Edition For Europe

The 2009 model will be the one that ends the production of the beautiful Honda S2000. That’s why the Japanese manufacturer decided to release on the market a special edition of this car.

The Honda S2000 Ultimate Edition comes equipped with new wheels and an optional hard-top and hides under the hood a 2.0-liter VTEC four-cylinder engine delivering 237 hp and 153 lb-ft of torque matched to a six-speed manual transmission. The exterior is „Grand Prix White” coated and the car sports numbered doorsill plaques, red leather interior and color-matched stitching.

This four-wheeled baby will be officially unveiled in March at the Geneva Motor Show and right after this event it will be available in showrooms all over Europe.

Japanese Honda Accord Mugen

After its official introduction on the Japanese market the beautiful Honda Accord is getting ready to unveil a brand new package signed by Mugen for both wagon and sedan models.

The Honda Accord Mugen will boast with an amazing bodykit, new rear and front spoilers, a big rear wing, side sills, aero bumpers and 18 or 19-inch alloy wheels. Under the hood, the car will hide high-performance brake pads and rotors, a new sport suspension kit and a new sport exhaust system.

For now, Mugen released no information on any upgrade for the 2.4-liter engine or the 5-speed automatic transmission.

Honda Freed

Honda has revealed yesterday in Tokyo the new Freed, a compact minivan. The new model is based on Honda Jazz and keeps almost the same outline dimensions: 4,215 mm x 1,695 mm x 1,715 mm. Honda Freed was named by the English equivalent of the word "freedom" and is available in three different versions: with five, seven and eight seats.

The new Honda Freed will be powered by an 1.5 liters engine with 4 cylinders wich develops 120 HP. It is not known yet if Honda Freed will be available on other markets outside of Japan.
