The 26th edition of the International Automotive Festival has chosen its winners. In the category of the most beautiful car of the year, the jury had a difficult task, and the winner was designated the Citroen DS4. The fierce “battle” however was given, to designate the most beautiful concept of the year.

In this category have participated Kia Pop, Renault Dezire, concepts presented at the Paris Motor Show, and Jaguar C-X75 or Alfa Romeo Bertone Pandion. In this segment, the jury had a difficult decision to take, and the technical and mechanical innovations have not mattered. Following thorough analysis, the Jaguar C-X75, a concept designed to celebrate 75 years of the British brand, won thanks especially to the retro design.

The Jaguar designers have revised the exterior of the XJ, opting for a range of sporting accessories: a redesigned front spoiler with extension, larger air vents, side skirts and a new rear bumper deflector incorporated. The black chrome elements are in contrast with with the Satin Matte Pearlescent paint of the body. The aesthetic package is complemented by the 22-inch alloys, also black. Inside, the LED lights and the purple finishes give an individualized look of the interior, along with the Bremont clock built into the central console.

The Jaguar XJ75 Platinum Concept will be powered by an V8 with 5 liter supercharged engine, able to develop a total of 470 horsepower and 575 Nm.

To be eligible for the Car of the Year award, a car must be launched in Europe during 2010 and appear on at least two continents until June 2011.

In this year finalists list, the best represented car manufacturers are Citroen and Nissan with three models each (C3, C4 and DS3, respectively Juke, Leaf and Micra). Renault with the Wind is also on the list along with the first Romanian SUV manufactured by Dacia, The Duster.

Under the hood of the Jaguar XKR 75 we will find a 5 liters turbo engine with 535 HP that can develop a maximum speed electronically limited to 280 km/h and that sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds.

In addition to these changes, the special edition Jaguar XKE 75 will receive a new suspension and a new package that improves the car handling. On the exterior, Jaguar XKR 75 received a body paint in gray and in black and a set of alloy rims of 20 inch.

The Jaguar XKR 75 price in Great Britain is 104.000 euros and will be available from July.

The first model of this series was the XK120 that hit the roads in 1948. That was only the beginning because it was followed by many gorgeous cars in the years after. In order to celebrate all this beautiful moment, the producer decided to present this year the Jaguar XK60.

This car is geared up with a 4.2 liters V8, aluminum change gear, 298HP, rear ventilation chrome-plated grille, 20” Senta wheels, new front spoiler and chrome-plated evacuation.

One more detail before the end. Be ready to pay 66,995 for the Convertible and no less than 60,995 pounds for the Coupe.
