Lexus presented the LF-Gh Concept

Lexus presented the first images of the LF-Gh concept, a prototype that promises to revolutionize the design, style and the propulsion systems available on the premium sedans market today. The concept will be launched in world premiere at the New York Motor Show.

The name is an acronym derived from “Lexus Future Grand Touring Hybrid” and the concept will the base for the new generation of models for medium and large segment of the Japanese car manufacturer, starting with the new GS generation. The design of the LF-Gh reaches new horizons for Lexus, the front lines are a evolution from the LF-A supercar, especially with the changes that reach to the grille.

Although Lexus din not present pictures with the interior of the LF-Gh concept, the Japanese designers promise a “100% Lexus interior, new and futuristic, which brings many elements of modern art. “

New IS-F sedan model

Lexus is now updating the well known IS-F range. The new IS-F sedan model has the same 5.0-litre V8 engine generating 417bhp at 6,600rpm and 505Nm of torque at 5,200rpm. The car also features an eight-speed Sports Direct Shift (SDS) automatic transmission with manual paddle shift override. If you want to get to 62mph it will only take you about 4.8 seconds, and you will get very fast to the 168mph top speed. The updated model also has Limited Slip Differential to improve IS F handling and traction and the new Fuji White interior color scheme: blue leather bottom section for the steering wheel, and buffed-finish 19-inch alloy wheel design.

Lexus LF-Ch at Frankfurt Show

Lexus is taking the bold approach and it will release the new hybrid car, Lexus LF-Ch at Frankfurt Motor Show. Right now there are photos which leaked on the internet and it seems that they new care is quite a looker. This coming from Lexus who kept the design a bit stiff in the last series. Its rivals will be Audi A3 and BMW 1 Series. Stay tuned for the official debut of this car at Frankfurt Motor Show.

2010 Lexus HS Luxury Hybrid

The 2010 Lexus HS 250h has just been officially unveiled at the 2009 Detroit Motor Show and according to the manufacturer it is the first dedicated luxury hybrid worldwide.

The HS 250h comes equipped with a 2.4 liter four-cylinder engine (187 hp) typical for the Lexus Hybrid Drive System. If you’re familiar with the previous hybrid packs then I guess you agree that this is not the most attractive Lexus and folks at Carscoop seem to think that actually this looks a lot like the European Toyota Avensis.

Considering all other Lexus vehicles, the HS 250h will increase the fuel efficiency with up to 30% and for those of you interested in buying one you should know that the release date was set for this summer. We’ll keep you posted with more information on pricing as soon as possible.

Lexus IS 250C – World Debut

Lexus IS 250C is a very hot car that’s being presented at the Paris Motor Show. This beautiful car will make its official debut in the summer of 2009 challenging every single German car on the market.

The IS 250C is equipped with a 2.5 liter V6 engine with 208 hp (153 kW) mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. The roof is made from lightweight folding aluminium and according to the manufacturer this opens in just 20 seconds being the world’s fastest three-part roof.

The IS 250C features a steeply raked windscreen, “duck-tail” rear styling featuring “airkick” effect, ultra-smooth cabin profile, a set of aerodynamic under-body covers and rear tail lamp clusters scoring an 0.29 coefficient.

Lexus LS460 AWD

The beautiful all-wheel-drive Lexus LS460 will be officially presented on the market at the Moscow Auto Show. People back there love driving big cars and that’s a well-known fact by now. So what better place for the LS460 to be unveiled?!

This imposing vehicle will hide under the hood a four-wheel-drive system, an 8-speed auto box, a 4.6-liter V8, 381hp and a Torsen rear LSD.

Usually the torque split is set to 40/60 but if you feel like testing your adrenaline you can take it up to 70% to the rear-wheels.
