Chevrolet Volt color naming contest
Starting this morning, Chevrolet is in the final stages of the Volt color naming contest. This morning Chevrolet people have chosen three finalists from among the names submitted by 13,000 people in two weeks. On the company’s website you too can vote for your favorite name. But you should know that the silver paint with a pale green tint will be among the launched colors of the Volt, in November. As of today, the three finalists are: “EV-ergreen” submitted by Devin McQuarrie, San Jose, CA; “Viridian Joule” submitted by Dave Thomas, of Sanford, FL; and “environMINT” entered by Matthew Valbuena, Rancho Santa Margarita, CA. These three finalists will be flown to Los Angeles on December 1 where they will announce the winner. The contest’s winner will take a test drive with one of the models and it will be the first outsider to do so. So pick the one you like!
