Crazy Chinese Speed Blocks

Driving at high speeds can be fun but unfortunately it causes too many severe accidents all over the world. That’s the main reason why authorities worldwide decided to install some speed bumps on the roads in order to determine the drivers to slow down a little bit.

But apparently the Chinese officials decided to do something more drastically.

They decided to build in the province of ShanXi a new type of speed blocks 60 cm (2 ft) tall, 2.7 meter (9 ft) wide and 30 meter (100 ft) long.

Of course, the risk of some pedestrian getting hit by a car is very small now but what about those drivers that bump their cars on the cement walls?
