Mercedes-Benz Reveals SLR McLaren Roadster 722 S
Mercedes McLaren SLR are very close to ending a great era together in 2009. That’s why Mercedes SLR 722 S Roadster will take over for the 722 coupe with 650-hp supercharged 5.5L V8 engine under a stylish hood.
Rumor is that this is the probably the fastest open top production car ever with its 220.6 mph top speed.
The experience with McLaren’s F1 paid off and this new car sports a splendid carbon-fiber body that’s great for when you feel the need for speed.
It has a semi-automatic top that you’ll have to unlatch manually from the winshield helder before the electric actuators take over. Starting the first day of 2009 the manufacturer will unveil only 150 examples of the 722 S Roadster.
