New BMW 5 Series Interior Spied
Even if BMW is trying to keep it a secret, a few photos of the new BMW 5 interior leaked on the Internet.
After analyzing them, we can see that the new iDrive controller is mounted on the right side of the gear lever and has side buttons with functions (like Audi MMI system). It has even a „P” button behind the wheel for electronic parking brake.
The new steering wheel includes also scroll buttons while the dashboard is clearly more turned towards the driver. According to some rumors, the 5 Series interior hide Head-up Display, active suspension and a bigger sat-nav display on the dashboard.
The BMW 5 series will be available in spring 2010 as a 2011 model.
