Nissan And Infiniti Said NO to the Detroit Motor Show

Date: 26 Nov 2008 Comments: 0

The financial crisis is severely touching the auto industry worldwide and now it’s interfering with the Detroit Motor Show. A few days ago Mitsubishi, Rolls-Royce, Ferrari, Suzuki and Land Rover pulled out from the race and yesterday Infiniti and Nissan announced the same thing.

The Japanese car manufacturer justified this decision by saying that their 370Z and Cube models were already present at the LA Show and that’s why there’s no reason for sending the cars on Detroit. For the exact same reason they also said no to the Chicago Motor Show scheduled for February.

Until then the Detroit organizers are trying to solve their problems by convincing the manufacturers to come to the show. We’ll have to wait and see!
