Porsche Cayman Clubsport Announced For October
According to Autocar magazine Porsche has a new ace up their sleeve. Apparently a new lightweight version of the Cayman is on the way and they are planning to do the same thing they did with the 911 model by developing a single-make racing series for it.
The new Porsche Cayman Clubsport will be very slim weighting 220 pounds (100 kg) less than the standard model. This diet was possible because the vehicle will now has a stripped interior, lighter bodywork and wheels and a new lighting system. Under the hood, the Clubsport will hide the 314hp six that will make this baby run faster than Speedy Gonzales.
The regular Cayman S will hit the UK market in October for £4,000. Stay tuned for more information.
