The Paris Motor Show is only a week from now and Volkswagen will present there the new Golf VI together with its GTI version and the Passat BlueTDI.

Volkswagen’s BlueTDI diesels (Euro 6 compliant) are the cleanest engines made from the German manufacturer and they’ll accompany the VW Passat starting 2009.

The Euro 5 compliant BlueTDI engines along with dual-clutch DSG gearbox will be included under the hood of Tiguan and Jetta cars.

The VW Passat BlueTDI sports a 2.0-liter common-rail engine with 143hp with fuel consumption of 5.5 liters/100km (42.7 US mpg) and emits 144 g/km CO2 for the Variant and 5.2 liters/100km (45 US mpg) and 139 g/km CO2 emissions for the Passat sedan.
