Volkswagen Robust in South America
Even if right now many eyes are set on the upcoming show in Frankfurt, people are waiting also for the Volkswagen Robust pickup truck, somewhere south of the equator. The Volkswagen truck in the picture is created in Brazil exclusively for the South American market to compete with Chevrolet Montana and Fiat Strada. The 2010, the Volkswagen Saveiro has been refreshed to look like the rest of the cars in the VW range. A 1.6-liter engine powers the car and produces 101 horsepower on gasoline or 104 on ethanol. Ethanol is a very popular fuel in South America.
